Lord of the flies - today's ride was inundated. Late afternoon. Might need to go out a bit earlier in future.
Went out with a shorter crankset for the first time.
Still a bit sore from yesterday's off but pushed on. Didn't have much time but managed about 17 miles. A couple of bridleways but mostly quiet lanes.

Continued my fascination with rural Essex.

Did a mostly road circuit around the outside of Hatfield Forest - which is still officially closed, not that you would know it. About 18 miles again. Bit more of a breeze. Warm.

Legs felt heavy today and couldn't really find a good rhythm, but I'm still adjusting to the 170mm cranks.

Oh yeah, and I'm now feeling the aftermath of the crash the other day

What's that? It's Friday again? But that was only 7 days ago. RESULT!

Another glorious morning. This is about the only spot around my way that I can balance my phone to take a snap like this. It's under a great big oak so the shade plays havoc with the light settings. Anyway, another solid blast around suburbia. Goldie was on tip-top form
