Took the RTS for a gallop. Reminded me of Fairfax Pat's posts and my early mountain biking days.

Bored now, with not many jobs left to do, I took a local ride out, GoPro in tow and threw together an edit.

Good work, not hanging around either. Any chance of having this without the music?

Bit of a turnaround from the past few days of wall to wall sunshine and low 20's. Whilst it's still sunny, a chilly 6 degrees with a strong breeze meant donning the jacket again Still, it was ace.

The trails are super quick at the moment and with another dry week forecast we'll be in dust-mode soon.

There it is buddy, apologies, the go pro was in the full case, audio chatter is probably up there with pearl jam! Gives it a grainy, retro sound, aptly matching my videography on the hero 4, I reckon?!

Bit blustery and overcast. Riding into the wind is a chore at the best of times, but today got a call and needed to do the full 45 mile commute (round trip). And it was busy, much more so than usual...
Most of the farmland you see in these pictures is to be developed- into 6 garden villages of over 4000 homes....

Gilston Park area is the farmland, which is near Harlow, Essex.

The canal is the Stort Navigation leading into the Lee Valley, near Roydon.

My commute goes from Bishops Stortford to Enfield, just inside the M25. I've managed to workout a route whereby, of the 45 miles, about 40 are off-road. There and back are slightly different, because there is more towpath traffic on the way home.
