MTB with Elevated Chain Stays? Please identify make 1990?

Hi, Can anyone identify what make and model my retro bike is? I purchased the bike second hand around 1996 and the decals were already removed, I think the bike might have had a respray? The person I brought the bike off said it was a Saracen, my local bike shop at the time thought it was a Saracen Killi Comp? It has a Saracen seat and the frame sticker suggests its a Saracen, however the sticker has been removed and put back on. From looking at countless images there are differences in the frame to all estay Saracens I have seen, so I don't think its a Saracen? It has an LX rear mech, XT front mech, STI shifters, I have no reason to believe that any of the parts on the bike are non original other than the paint? It seems to look like an early Scott?

Make a few more posts, then you can attach images. Once we can see the bike, someone will undoubtably be able to tell you the exact model and probably even the year.

Cheers for the welcome, yeah the nick name is a long story as I got escorted by the Turkish police after landing somewhere I should'nt on a Paraglider, funny how nick names stick, others know me as Clipper through a few SPD incidents. Here is another pic, can I post more than one pic at a time?

I thought you cracked it, but The Carrera Quatro was slightly different on the estay.

Looks just like a Carerra Quatro to me too. I love how the chainstays are just unicrown fork blades, sensible use of available tubes

All the Carrera Quattro bikes I have seen has straight tubes going to the drop outs, they also have a straight tube going to the Bottom Bracket where mine is curved, any ideas?

Also the Carrera bikes do not have small link tubes a few inches above the drop outs, thanks for everyones ideas, but I don't think we are there yet.

One came up before and it didn't get ID'd. I did then find out stumbling across a picture with the name on it and didn't get around to posting on the old thread.
Wish I did now as cannot find it again or remember it's name.

Pretty sure it was one of the cheap want-to-be-like-them frame along the lines of Carrera budget stuff.
