i dont know if you mean to but the tone of your posts are coming across like you think he got what he deserved.

Please read all my posts on this thread, on countless occassions i've stated that I don't condone the violence this man received or the assault he dished out to this woman, albeit in self defence.

i realise that but you dont seem to be letting up at all.

let me put this to you. you are in a car park and your door catches the car next to you but causes no damage what so ever. do you wait by your car for the other driver to return so you can apologise for having not damaged his car? of course you dont. you have a look at his door, decide no damage done and go on your merry way, just like the rest of the world would.

You are quite correct, but i'd at least have the courtesy to have a proper look. If someone was in the vehicle i'd apologise and ensure my apology was recognised and accepted. Common courtesy and good manners is all that is required. In the case of this thread it would of saved alot of bother i'm sure.

I feel sorry for the original poster. There is no way that you can justify the response of the idiots in that car. I don't care what people think about clipping wing mirrors.. beating the carp out of someone is far worse - and in essence the point of this thread.

Adi - I hope you get justice for this. I believe that you should pursue this as far as you can. Idiots like that have to realise that they can't get away with that kind of violence, even if you had taken the wing mirror off!
