Today's Ride

I'd just moved to a new area, (new job, new mortgage) so bought one of these from Mrs Shedobits catalogue and together with an Ordnance Survey map and a British Army Mk 4 compass discovered a whole new area (and hobby) by MTB.
As the bug bit I upgraded and finally replaced it with a Scott USA Montana before joining the local MTB club.
Thanks for showing. :)

Echoing the other cold/rainy/damp sentiments from the last few days, don't be fooled by the smidgens of sunshine and slight blue skies in the distance, approx ten minutes after this I was being pelted with hailstones mid hill climb. 35km, 425 meters of elevation and I think I've got a cold coming on 🤦‍♂️

Hopefully some nicer weather soon :)

The one thing about getting these wet/cold/muddy rides in is knowing how good those dry tracks and sun on your back is going to feel when it comes!

A couple of days off from a really busy start to the year and realise that this is my first proper ride of 2025...at last!!

Usual route around the park, but one I had missed since before Christmas. Cold today, overcast too.

Put some new wheels on this Bravado, so a test ride was in order :)

Park was deserted.
