Pretty big one today, scenery may look familiar if any members have done the C2C.
From my town to Hownsgill Viaduct and back, wanted to familiarize myself with the C2C route as much as possible locally, came in at 91km and 871m of elevation - it was around 86km by the time I got back to the outskirts of my town so I decided to take the long route round to a local park, do some laps then one last climb to round it off and push it to 100k. That long route ended up being a bad idea due to the recently trimmed brambles giving a slow but steady puncture on the front. Didn't really want to risk it so started heading back, passed by a guy walking at which point his dog sprints out of nowhere, ignores all shouting or commands from the owner and places itself right in my path. Managed to slow to probably 15mph but still ended up hitting it and ending up on the floor myself. Fortunately dog was okay, I'm okay however I think the rear wheel must've bonked off the floor pretty hard as it went flat almost immediately.
