That looks lovely. Super rolling countryside with great horizons! Do you ever come across any of your (frankly disturbing) reptiles on these paths? What's the avoidance drill?Hotter weather over the last few days in our part of New South Wales, which has been great. Today I had an hour over lunchtime so decided to tackle a couple of local climbs close to town which I could do in the limited time available. I took the '98 Explosif, which has been a little neglected of late, and quickly remembered how nicely it rides. Just 14km but 775 ft climbing -- and some lovely views. That'll do for a stolen weekday ride!

Haha -- I've encountered plenty of rabbits, roos and the odd echidna (a bit like a porcupine) but thankfully so far the only snakes I've seen have been squished by motor vehicles. I think the protocol on encountering a live specimen would be to spin those pedals rapidly in the other direction! That looks lovely. Super rolling countryside with great horizons!
