Yesterdays showers didn't really change the trails too much this morning. Tacky in a few spots but predominately fast rolling. Lovely stuff
Just the one snap of a real rarity in suburbia; old skool heath-land. There are just a few tiny pockets around Greater London so whilst it looks barren now, it'll come alive in the next 30 days weather permitting
As the sun was out this evening i decided to mend my puncture and headed out for a blast.
Headed over to a local hill as the fields were bone dry so was able to cut across them without collecting half of it on my tyres. The hill is not big, well it is for round these parts, but it has a few hidden trails through the pine woods, which though short are made to make the most of the situation. The tracks were unusually bone dry allowing one to carry some speed, assuming you didnt catch a tree with your bars  You can ride around and back up, but its quicker but steeper if you walk, twice the exercise
A great evenings riding, a nice change from endless trails that always seem to be slightly uphill.
Another glorious sunrise today. These early morning rides are the reason I'll continue to WFH if/when things get back to relative normality. A little light rain yesterday hasn't had any impact on the trails that are still in tip-top condition. A joy to ride and swing her about.
