Since Sky, Tour de France is boring...
There's something wrong somewhere.

But happy to saw racer like Sagan or Pantano

How can you say that? Team Sky have put happy yellow handlebar tape on today! :p

Re:

It must have taken G a lot of persuasion to not wear his white Oakleys!

You are putting the blame in the wrong direction. Sky are just better at playing the game than anyone else. Radios and constant contact with team cars is the problem. In the 'Good old days' TM no-one knew how many folk were in the break, how far ahead it was, what the time difference was on GC, if someone broke off from the break etc, etc, etc. Get back to that and the uncertainty will create the excitement. But then a couple of years back when they tried to restrict use the pros all compained! :?
There were also more drugs than at a Grateful Dead concert in the 'Good old days' TM so maybe we need some of that too for excitement.

Good point! There are some races where radios aren't allowed, and they make for exciting racing.

Re:

Calm down dear!

It's just the final stage, in Paris. And you're a sprinter!

No need for tantrums, you just broke your bike, then another one!

Re:

And you don't have to be a world class sprinter to be highly strung
A good tour with some good stages Froome did what he needed to do the attack downhill jumping on Sagans wheel and a stonking TT culminating in a 3rd Tdf win who can knock him for that chapeau Chris Froome

Re:

My summary, take it or leave it ....

The good bits ... individual stages, Yates' finding his grand tour legs, Sagan's ability and of course Cav
The bad bits - lack of GC winner excitement, Quintana's performance

Hopefully, we'll have a British winner in a few years as Yates matures

Re:

I must say, I'm very impressed by Sagan's season so far.

Not just relying on his sprint, but willing to start breaks as well. Not surprised at his combativity award.

Yup. I imagine there are a few XC MTBers in Rio quietly shitting bricks
