Show us your marins!

Who chucked that in a skip!!!?
I don't think it happens so much these days, but it was not unusual to see good bikes in the metals skip at our local dump 12 years ago. It was around 18/20 years old at the time and hadn't been used for a long time with one of the front fork dropouts snapped.

Hi all.
Hadn't realised that the hacker had deleted the 'show us your Marins' thread. Here's mine -
1992 Marin Pine Mountain Browning suspension
Possibly one of the rarest Marins out there.. not just a bolted on fork, it's frame geometry was specifically designed to use the Browning suspension fork and uses a 1 1/4" headset. Was BOTM back in September 2019.
As far as I know.. one of only 2 Marins to get the Accolade. Loads of info on this specific model in the build thread.. enjoy

my 19" 1991 Eldridge
Found this at a bike shop where it had been traded in , was in a sorry state with frozen seat post and orange paint completely faded.
Luckily many of the original parts were still intact, wolber rims, most lx/dx parts so with some work it turned out great
