1991 Marin Team

Have been after the larger marin team for a while as a build for my brother..... He's a tall fella!

Thanks to @Tootyred this one arrived yesterday. It's going to be a slow build as it'll depend on funds etc.

Annoyingly I do have a nice M739 groupset sat on a 98 bravado but it seems wrong to put that era xt on it, so will lookout for m732/m735

OK, first bit(s) have arrived.

Have decided for the M737 groupset, I know it's not catalogue but I think it's one of the better looking sets (I don't like the look of the 730 cranks) and it's 'slightly' easier to source!

So thanks to @Walterscot some nice sti's have arrived, although no bars to mount them yet!

Yes, serial number says team 91, but @Tootyred had it sprayed, his thread is somewhere of the build somewhere. Must admit paint job is pretty darn good

I thought that, unlike any other frames from the range, Team 1990 and Team 1991 had two cables on the top tube:

I think it depended on country? I've seen some with only one stop. Wierd

Although I have no idea how to tell if it's a UK model or import etc

The frames are magnetically drawn to me!

Enjoy....its a fantastic frame...that oversize prestige is a fine fine tubeset.
