Show us your Kuwahara

Hi, I have a Kuwahara Pacer with 32 mm tires, thinking about 35. But it seems like there will be only about 2 mm of clearance on both sides. Do you think it will be enough? The tires will be Panaracer GK SS and old Wolber road rims
It's hard to say without seeing it, but it sounds a little tight in my opinion. You'd need you wheels to be dead true and even if it looks good in the stand, any flex in the frame would make them rub the stays... Only way to know for sure is to try it!

The yellow at the front tube is a yellow foil, it just would need still a black Kuwa "K" sticker, originally it's there pink and there was also a pink and less sporty pink stem.

I wanted a full black drive train and components, no front derailleur any longer and used Suntour X-1 from 1991 and Diacompe SS5 brake lever.

The chain ring is a NW from Aliexpress (just colored the bulky decals black), now they are getting also more common available for cheap money for 5Arm with 110BCD.

I'm using WTB Riddler 700x37C at the picture, but this is definitely the maximum, there just 1-2mm of clearance to the chainstays, so the wheels have to be absolutely true.
This pair of Riddler, bought used and cheap was annoyingly wobbling - and I've played around quite a while with talcum and other things, but I have meanwhile throwen them into the rubbish can.
Right now I'm using a combination of Bontrager GR1 team issue tires with 40 in the front and 35 for the back.
They ride great, no wobbling, and the dark brown skinwalls fit to my Kuwa even a bit better (just don't have pictures yet).
A clear recommendation as with just a 35C there is a bit more clearance at the back. With the GR1 and in my experience enough to cope also with frame flex, not perfectly true wheels or a bit of mud.

But also the 37C Riddler haven't touched chain stays.

Edit: Just have done a quick ride with the dog at lunch time.
This is how it looks now with the Bontrager tires, 40C on the front 35 at the back. To me a good fit.

This is mine, but not built yet
It took me a bit to find the year and model of your Pacer, just as others may also wonder, it should be based on a 92 U-Pacer.
Also a nice basis and I'm sure this could result into a nice old Gravel bike...

The cable hanger does the job but is to me not the optimal solution yet ;)
What about something like this (sure, it isn't cheap and easy to get)

My bike is almost built, I will add some photos tomorrow. I'm thinking about old Campy Shamal wheels. The tyres are Panaracer GK SS 35. I'm not going to use it in hard terrain, just traveling and some light gravel. I rode them when I was racing, but would you suggest them for a let's say CX/travel/Gravel?

I like the looks and it rides great, but I expected it to be a little bit lighter.

I don't think that bike needs Shamals. I will stick to this build. You know the feeling when you want something, but do not actually need it. It's better to spend money on vacation, riding some mountains, etc..
