apart from my obvious droolers like a cr7 i think my dream rarity would have to be an old ZINN

vaguely remember that woman with the round glasses racing them in late eighties but can't remember her name

found one for sale in america couple of months ago but bloke never got back to me

Pretty sure that's Jackie Phelan you're thinking of, it was the ZINN's that finally made me start seriously thinking about getting one of those "new fangled mountain bikes"! :)

Mountain bikes I would like to see here... Highpath Cleland

This is my rare 1988 Highpath Cleland.

These bikes were developed by Geoff APPS during the 1970s and one was riden up Snowdon as early as October 1981.

Was this the first MTB ascent of a British mountain?

Were these the first type of Mountain bikes to be made in Britain?

My 2nd (and probably my favorite) bike was a 1985 Jamis Dakar. Lovely fillet brazed frame finished in bright red. Loved the bronze anodised RM 20's too :D
Haven't seen a single one of those on here yet (if I can find one, maybe I can have the first!)
