I also remember the old thread and I still think it very odd that the one part of the frame with packing material is where one might find decals?

I have looked but can't find the other thread :-( Perhaps someone else will have better luck ?

Regardless of the provenance the frame looks to be very high quality, nice welds and cable stop detail.

I do like some of the details but I am not so sure on some of the welds ... ?

I doubt it, bikemeister has commented on the Raleigh ti frames and where they were made and what from etc.

It shares the same peculiarities that the canti-studs can not be unscrewed and the ridged welded cable guides.

How much are they?

That is the American version of the Torus.
It has the same cable stops on the top tube, aluminium insert in the seat tube and the other cable stops are the same as the early Torus as well. Dropouts look the same too but it's hard to tell.
Also the chainstays, lack of chainstay bridge and canti mounts are the same too.

The welding looks terrible compared to my Torus.
