On that note do you need to be out of work / hard done by / have no aspirations for years and years to be considered 'having worthy life experience'?

I know i'd rather trust well educated people to make the important decesions.

Hmmmm.

I am not being argumentative, honestly, but do you realise how many well educated people spend their lives out of work, displaying a lack of aspiration, meanwhile bitching about how hard it all is?

Personally I would settle for a system where more of us get the chance to make more of the decisions.

Call me an idealist, but call me.

:)

But do you mean "educated people" under the last few years system :?:

If so these people are not really educated, they would have been farm labourers bitd. ;)

The modern education system gives people an attitude and not much else, how can you pass an exam whith three quaters of your spelling and grammar incorrect :?:

Worked for Duncan Smith.....
:p

I meant Iain Duncan Smith's inability to use grammar and vocabulary correctly,(recent quote in The Guardian) which has apparently failed to damage his prospects and career.

"We don't expect hardly anybody to be under those conditions, because people, when they recognise this will happen, I think will focus very seriously on taking work,"
Double negative and topsy-turvey sentence construction.

Anyway, I was going off at a tangent. Just ignore me....

I know what you meant, but one person hardly makes your point when my previous point covers 1/2 the current population of school leavers and graduates now does it ;)

But surely it does connect with the current subject,as the next generation of out of work adults are the people who sit at home moaning that they are "overqaulified" to do any work that is offered to them.
