No  You are trying to incite a real big argument here,I said that there are an element of the unemployed who do this, you are saying this is wrong are you :?: :?:

I Myself, have not labeled everybody as per your statement have I :?:

You should perhaps reread the whole thread before you male statements about what I have said ;)

It is factual that thousands of jobs were "created" by labour to make their own policies look good and it could be argued that it is cheaper to have theses people on the claim than to pay them,it has been said by others as well.

If it's factual could you point me in the direction of the facts please? The Daily Mail website does not count. ;)

I have read the thread in detail and think it's quite clear what your opinion is.

i would like ot say that I'm a civil servant (but tomorrow is my last day of being one) and i do nothing at work, they are paying me ot sit at my computer and surf the net, and listening ot internet radio, OK, my work has changed location, and whats left of the work force, who didnt go are awaiting their fate (they wont be made reduntant because it cost too much), we work for HMRC, and they couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery, they are useless, and it does seem that any that are left at my office will be shipped down to brighton (from crawley) to the local tax office because that is the closest place. Seriously from the very start of this year we have had from them all kinds of rubbish, one week they say one thing the next its something else, the old timers at my workplace were up until last monday week, told, in writing and via emails of a exit package, but then apparently the figures were out by 250k and so they were denied it on the day of when they were to find out, bloody useless, their whole attitude is its a job, and you will have ot just put up with the crap, i took volutary redundancy as soon as it was offered to us that where on the old companies private contract.

There is what is called a pool in the HMRC that are people who jobs are under threat but wont get redundancy because it will cost HMRC too much (about 4000 people), so they are kept employed doing non jobs, HMRC will never change because they are funded by the government, they arent a competitive private company, efficiency is not a word liked in HMRC, various reports have said moral is low there, and i agree, good riddance!

My opinion is based on my actual experience in my town, not on spurious newspaper articles, you maybe read the daily mail as you seem to know much about the articles there in ;)

I cant be bothered to argue any longer,I quit, but when the country goes belly up because too many people are taking out and not enough putting in then perhaps you will see the point,I dont care a fiddle as it does not affect my lifestyle one jot :D

There is a huge waste of money above ^^ sorry to here it mate but we know how government departments waste money as if you try to phone any government run office they dont know where their collective **** hangs, they kick you from pillar to post and back again, pathetic.

 could not help myself

Are your comments on this thread part of the 3/4 of the time you are joking (see thread on retro parts cost) or are you really being serious? Difficult to tell.

This topic does actually get my goat,as they say,but I am trying to lighten it a bit before the proverbial punches get thrown....

broken the speed limit anyway, dont think so,we have all been guilty of this I dare say (drivers anyway) but I have never repeat never claimed any benefits in my life

No - not all of us. I've still got a 100% clean driving licence.... And a car, which I drive on a regular basis.

Re. benefits - if this is the case, how come you were refused some kind of help when you needed it (wife sick or something along those lines)? I'm sure there's a bona-fide reason, but I'm seeing a contradiction.... Please clarify.

firstly clean driving licence only means you have never been caught ;)

I also have a clean driving licence, and without telling to much about my personal circumstances,if you are self employed there is NO help available, and to stop being self employed would mean you could claim something but not enough to pay mortgage etc.catch 22 I am afraid

I could easily live on 60 a week as we have no sky dont smoke and drink only occasionaly, some times I dont even make sixty pounds a week after my expenses and manage well enough.

Anyway, some of us have to go to work tommorrow so nighty night.

p.s. if you want some of orford smoke houses bacon,I have an order coming through next week so pop you address in my pm and I will send you a few slices to try

What actual experience?? What you think you see or what you have actually been a part of?

When the country goes belly up because the unemployed list has gone through the roof and the private sector has failed to fill the gap promised by the Tories perhaps you will see the point.

i no longer have a clean driving licence, i had been going through a big yellowe box thing camera at faster and faster speeds, until i was at a point where i was completely ignoring it driving through at 45 mph was my recordand laughing at the foolish people slowing down, then one day not too long ago it flashed me, letter comes telling me i was doing 38, bastard thing lulled me into a false sense of security,

would have been a tad happier if i had of been clocked at 45 mph too
