Well finally and for the health of my bank balance i'm 98% finished the 90 Explosif tribute 93 Explosif.
Once i went down the rabbit hole of looking for nice M900 XTR parts things got expensive lol
It started with the front mech then the wheels which didn't have the quick releases so a kidney was sold to get those i've used the nos Deore XT M737 cantilevers but may end up goimg for M900 XTR's instead and may go for a M900 cassette aswell but there crazy prices so the M737 off the 95 Kilauea will do for now.
When i sold the 95 Kilauea i kept the Bontrager Titec titanium bars and they look perfect.

This bit is something what's been nagging away for awhile now and that's the the idea of replacing the decals for 93 Explosif ones it would still have the 90 Explosif tribute with the pink and blue splatter but have the correct decals instead. Really not sure what to do, i love the look as it is now but i think it will still look great with the originals back on

Cheers mate your vote wins i'm going to keep this one as it is i just love the look of it. It's a pure one off build which is what i set out to do from the start and no one can replicate it unless they have the patience of a saint and try and copy every splat
It's come a long way from this.

The 1993 geometry and your '90 splatter finish looks awesome
Looks far better than the original '90 IMHO

As the splatter is over the existing decals, won’t it be really hard to get the splatter to match with the new ones as they will be different sizes /shapes?

The photos really don't do it justice to see how the colour changes,you need to see it in front of you. The colour is very light dependent, if it's dark or overcast it looks black or a bit like the midnight blue on the other one but if it's sunny then it goes almost green it's amazing to look at.
When you see the two together the original one looks quite boring next to the 90 one but on its own looks really good lol
