Cheers kafer-k, i use Tamiya model paint and a paintbrush to flick the paint on.

This 91 Lavadome now makes it five one off splatters i've done so far and it all started with that 1990 Lavadome.

To build or not to build tis the question i'm asking myself now

The blue on black is incredible, it reminds my of my old early 90's DB Sorrento which had a metallic purple splatter(ish)
I think the only thing I might have done different was do the splatter before the decals, but regardless of my thoughts it has turned out quite stunning and Im sure that it will turn more than a few heads once it hits the world

93 Cindercone all done, first test ride in the street and as soon as i rode off the forks just went straight to the bump stops, maybe i should've put some air in them Air in the forks and wahlaa they work again You definitely feel the difference in weight at the front end compared to having Project Two's but that's the trade off to not getting rattled about as much i suppose
Spec of the bike is mostly as it was factory with the black Deore LX hubs and cantilevers,SS5's brake levers and Deore shifters. I went with both the mechs being Deore DX and i wasn't happy with the look of the amber walls so switched them to black Maximum/Reaction tyres.
A little finishing touch was the black Shimano quick release skewers for the wheels.
I'm intrigued to see the difference between suspension and Project Two's so i'm going to find a local loop with a mixture of smoothish and rough track to even it up,pick a start and finish point and time it. It'll be up against my 93 Explosif so should be a fun test

I can feel a build happening those cantilevers go perfectly with the blue splatter,i think it needs more splatting aswell. To build or not to build tis the question
It was the blue water bottle bolts which gave me the what if idea lol
