Is there a retro full sus bike which can still cut it?

I would take you up on that challenge, if only I could give up the cigs (again...), beer, whisky, cake and actually get fit...

I'd take my Orange 5 (28-29lbs) and give you a very good run for your money ;)

Apologies for posting pics of a non-retro rig ;)

Still love my FSR had one in 97 when they first came out, got pinched in 98 and i happened upon this about 4 years ago and paid £200 for it, Rides like a dream pity the rider doesn't. Still i doubt very much if i'll ever get rid

Finally a sensible response from someone.... ;)

Original Turner Burner came out in 1994 too and was called the best full suspension bike ever by MBA.

A review of the 96 version is in the magazine articles thread too so have read if you haven't already done so.

My RTS still rides like a dream every day of the week. But, I haven't ridden a new-breed full sus to compare it to. However, reading some of their weights, I dont think I want to. 30+lbs going uphill just doesnt seem right
