Older Roberts filet brazed frame information sought please

I came across this today, it's a tallish fillet brazed 26er in Columbus tubing, the fork is the non unicrown brazed type, almost like a biplane fork with reinforcement as part of the casting. It's going to be a reasonable price too. There's an 87 on the frame stamp on the BB. No name, just Roberts and the Columbus decals.....Any good?

If it’s a Roberts then it’s a custom made frame, so should be top quality.
Roberts frame numbers are typically 6 digits; first two are the year and second two are the month.
Worth checking the spacing of the drop outs so you know what width hubs to use.

It's a very nice frame - as long as the rust isn't too bad. No doubt there will be some Roberts gurus coming along soon to confirm which model.

As said, frame number will give you a build date but nothing else, it's in a really good man size though and it's got a cast crowned fork which are usually quite narrow (can't tell from the image) have you tried a fat front tyre in it yet? Other than that it's nice and woulda made a really cool 26 inch wheel tourer if it wasn't for the fact that it has no rack mounts.

Could the fork crown be a Cinelli OR ?
If so approx. 70mm internal
