Remember the well established art buyers do it like this:

I own 1 silly painting worth................1 million
I buy another for 3 million..................3 million
--------------------------------------------------------
I have spent.......................................4 million

But my 2 paintings are now worth......6 million

If I owned another C26 it would be worth paying.....well anything for another frame.

yes all very true but all i was saying is were i live a bicycle is called a push bike :D .....but its still a hell of a lot of dough for a frame   there again if they can spend all that on it they can not be on the bread line :p :p

same here, bike, bicycle, push bike whatever, its the item in the auction I was talking about. And if you want to be literal then your right it is just a push bike, but thats like saying this is just a car......

gets me thinkin' I should sell mine. would a full bike go for 15 or 20? I paid less for LA's old bike! this was an entertaining auction for sure.[/quote

hey, Chris, is that you?

if not, carry on ;)

My FTC inspired reply:

TS: Why didn't you tell me, Golden? Why didn't you tell me that day when we went to the top of the hill and we rode sweet, oh how we rode on such sweet, sweet cunniham-wiches ....

TS: Oh'uh, oh'are you sure that was me Golden?

Golden: Yes I am pretty sure that it was you, Chris.

TS: I'm Tucker

Golden: Oh my god! I'm so sorry!

TS: Don't worry Golden, I'm actually quite relieved. That kind of thing just happens all the time, I just got one of those faces I suppose

Would be worth a few bob but I wouldn't bid on it- I don't want duplicates in my collection.

Had to love the way the 917 broke in half just behind the cockpit when you hit something. Death traps they are- I know a bloke who lost the bottom half of his leg in one of those. The Ferarri 512LM was a much better car as well.
If you like I could tell you a story about testing the 917 on the Mulsanne?

Sniff Sniff. Did I see the word Cunningham??
Now bollocks to Durango gluebag frames that go 'crack' in the night- Cunningham! Now that is my Holy Grail.
Please sir, can we see your Cunningham Witches?
