Which bottom bracket this spindle was made for? The only occurrences I can find are in the 1993 Merlin catalogue (well, 1994 here in the Archive section; the 1993 and 1994 catalogues are swapped). In 1993, the Merlin Mountain frame no more has Grease Guard ports drilled in the bottom bracket shell, so I was wondering if this Beta-C spindle was still designed for SunTour bottom brackets or another brand. @Archangel seemed to have one in the past, though it was advertised as a complete bottom bracket (https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/fs-1994-merlin-mountain-titanium-sold.19734/) whereas Merlin literature only mentions Beta-C spindle.
