I don't think that is too bad for the money. At least you get some real history and it is VERY rare. The top of the range Trek road bike is $10,000 and to the man on the street wouldn't look much different to the $500 model. At least with this bike you can say it was truly an important bike in the history of MTB.

maybe you could put riser bars...cannondale extra long bar ends and a flex stem and an allsop beam to the main frame.oh and one of those bright yellow disc things on the back wheel ...plus some green tyres for the ultimate insult
