That's most likely the disk / filesystem / partition.

It can be removed, connected to a PC, and fixed, but not with the standard PC tools.

I've had to do very similar with mine (it's had countless different sized disks in (currently 320GB).

It's probably easily fixed, and may well be without losing any recordings.
