And today I did......

Whip round for the tandem hire? Let's face it, you could charge admission for this...

That tourer has worked out to be a really good buy Klaus. Did you ever shift the frame?

As I say I'll do the tandem madness. In fact the more I think about the more I think why not, its no more stupid than racing a single speed off road in a 12 hour overnight enduro and I've done that or race a converted 10 speed racer around Drumlanrigg and I've done that too or take a fixie off road and on snow and ice too, again guilty as charged
Bring it on ;)

today I stripped the dale and was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the bike and parts, the cooks will look amazing buffed up (did a wee bit and it shines) and the frame is in pretty good nick however it is tiny- 14.5 inch ctc 16 inch centre to top

the rear xtr mech seems to be the short cage variant, does this demand a slight price premium as it seems to do with xt mechs? will do some pics in the weekend and give first refusal to the sweaty socks.

The frame size is great but I need to get a steel frame as I have two aluminium already.

Not sure if there is a premium on short cage but I had a job getting one until Rob came up with the goods.

i did say that that dale was a small one

what about a tag along instead of a tandem ?
