Pics or it didn't happen...

Most jealous, I've realized I'm going to have to scale back the bike buying this year and get financially creative when it comes to any future projects.

What size is the Ritchey Klaus? Dare I say it, looks rather large. Liking the patina though, what are the plans?

It does look a bit large but remember this is pre sloping top tube*. So the important size is actual top tube, which IIRC is around 22.5" The KHS for instance is a 20" frame which is why I always go with TT measurement rather than the conventional ST size. Plans are .....dunno! I will probably build and gather parts for a full resto. I was thinking of doing it off the bat but will ride it first. I sorted through most of my spares tonight and put some build kits together, I think I only need wheels and shifters for this one. The tourer you picked up for me has alot of donor parts :)

*or before sloping top tube became popular.

This evening I have been mostly scouring eBay for tandems :D

Found one for less than a fiver, might not be the best, but it only needs to last one run...

Wait, no it doesn't, it just needs to outlast a certain tall geezer from midlothian ;)

Think it will have to be custom built that one. Intense front welded onto a Apollo gate rear

Dont get cocky Dave, you've got to drive it and in a crash to go over the bars I've got to go through you.....OUCHY

Most tandems are tough and overbuilt so go for it if your brave enough
