And if youre not a follower of fashion, the 25.4mm flavoured clamp version is ridiculously cheap.

That's because you can't find a decent bar in that size these days :)

Re:

Packed up another bike for collection by the courier. Had my Delta V 5 years, and it was a fun build chasing down the Coda parts on eBay, but time to move it on as it wasn't getting used.
That's me down to 7 now.

Re:

Amateurs!

I'm holding steady at 14
Although at least two of them are for the chop so I'd be down to a more manageable 12

What's the 7 clubby?

Thinned down for the peak of 10. Three retro gone over last few years. They were itches that needed scratched and lost very little money on any of them and had some great rides. No new bikes since I swapped out the Jones for the Plus bike in November 16.
Got to a stage where there’s very little overlap in styles. Each bike is different enough to justify its place (to me anyway).

1997 GT STS - only remaining retro, but had since new and will never sell.

Charge Plug 5 - Steel frame (Tange Prestige) disk brake do it all road bike. Full mudguards, clearance for cross tyres, perfect for winter and most of the summer!

Canyon Ultimate CF. Carbon road bike, aero rims. Summer nights and hard blasts. Totally wasted on my fat ass but feels so fast it’s addictive.

Saffron - Custom steel 29er made to measure, built for 100mm Lefty. Looks old fashioned (classic) geometry but fits beautifully and perfect for long rides on mixed trails. Another one I’ll never sell.

Santa Cruz 5010 CC - 130mm travel 27.5 full sus. Long and slack. Enough travel all but the roughest trails but still feels lively and plenty of pop. Best bike I’ve ever owned.

Merida Big Trail - 120mm travel alloy hardtail plus bike. 27.5 x 2.8 tyres. My go to winter bike.

Surly Pugsley fat bike. Not used as much as when I first got it but goes places no other kind of bike will go, so still very much earns its place.
