There were actually some protos with different paint/decals, seen one picture ever.

Yep, my wifes adroit, and my orange adroit above it. So over at Mombat, the article says that prototype is 1 of 3? Did I read that right? Where would mine fall?

Well, this is pure speculation, but as yours has a colour matched MC2 stem and the First Flight bike does not I would guess yours is slightly later. The other prototype I have seen is this one:

Based on the debossed decals I would guess this one is later still.
