Just wondering roughly how far you guys go on an average ride, on or offroad? I've not long been back riding and racked up 30 miles today with a 50/50 off/on road split and boy am I feeling it :lol:

Now it makes sense, I thought it looked familiar. Something very much like it, as you say, was an option for the Fervor I bought (and still ride) in '95. I bought the silver one in the end. Either it's a damn nice colour and the OP has done what looks a top job on the spray!

Agree on leaving the penetrating oil / lube longer. I often leave it 24 hours or at least over night.

Now that.. is a damn nice colour on a damn nice frame.. in fact that could well be a strong contender for the Klein respray over the winter. :D

Albut, Take the old bearings out, get along to Grace Road Central on Marsh Barton, about half way down on the left (just past Speedy Hire) is a large bearing supplier. I think they should be able to sort you with bearings, and loads cheaper than you'll pay on the high street. Cheers Paddy

Where the flip do you guys get decent straddle wires from? I need some nice ones but not with the pyramid style end, just the round style. I've found some nice Jagwire EZ-Handle in US stores but can't find them in the UK. Cheers Paddy
