A little O/T...I'm after a Postman's bike or a delivery bike

I don't suppose anyone has one lying around taking up much needed room by any chance?

I've watched a couple of 'vintage' delivery bike on the bay and they've gone for silly money, a cheap postie bike would be ideal.

I don't suppose thepost office have auctions?

Not fussed about condition and will collect to make it easy.

Think they are made by Pashley, hence the daft sums paid for them.

That and the Hoxton/Whitechapel trendies are now ditching their fixies (so last year, darrrhhlliing) for 'utility' bikes.

Certainly some are Pashley, and you're right they can fetch daft money. Perhaps there are other types which can be picked up cheaply (he says hopefully...) :D

I need the built in frame for the basket/box at the front...

Must be some Hurcules ones around. I know my mum has a hideous one with a wicker basket.

Looked at Butchers/bakers/trade/delivery bicycles on eBay and there were a couple. Pretty old and dangerous looking though.
