Your favorite rigid fork

My favorite rigid fork...is a rigid fork! You know I'm right!!


Look at your lists filled with 4-5-6 forks each! Most of you seem to feel the same way. Maybe a more accurate question would be, "What is your favorite riding fork?" To which I would still say...A Rigid Fork!









Although my disc specific P2II is slow, heavy, lethargic and generally sucks balls.

Good forks - RC 30 (the ones with 4 big bolts through the crown and 531 legs) or RC31.

UGLI forks too flexy.
Orange steel rigid fine, but a bit too harsh.

My favorite performing rigid fork is a Jones Truss fork followed by the Type II. I've had a Pace RC31 and a Blacksheep ti fork and both were scary to ride.

Re: Raleigh (X-Lite) Direct Control

For Raleigh UK bikes, there can be only one choice - the Direct Control fork. Designed by the late Rex Trimnell of X-Lite fame.
