33lbs is pretty wild for a trail/xc hardtail. My Transition Sentinel is also 33lbs....

For the past few years I have been riding my titanium bike that I converted to 27.5. I'm on 2.1 tires to make them fit. It has an old Rockshox SID. I'm going to keep it in rotation and probably add a dropper post to it. The Zaskar and the TST both have their ports and con's.

The lack of anodized parts is anoying ....

33lbs or 14 kg is a lot (and the 29" wheels don´t help in aceleration os twisty single tracks), it doesn´t deserve the "zaska" name. Needs weight reduction and pruple bits ... retro rules in modern bicycles.

I will start looking for some lightweight purple shiny things. I might need some Chris King hubs at some point.
