Cardboard boxes for posting wheels.

I normally go DpD very reliable and good prices. In France we have Mondial Relais, all their drivers are sub contracted so b they don't give shit one, they're emptying 50 parcels an hour from the big store lockers.

It's a cheap service (£6 for up to 5kg) but there's a lot of stuff damaged and sod all insurance included.
Claiming on courier insurance is one of life's most unpleasant tasks.
You dont want to go there.

I find that cheaper couriers also often try to claim a surcharge falsely for oversize or overweight parcels.

I measure, weigh and photograph parcels now before despatch(when I have to use cheap couriers)

When they raise a case, they drop it toot sweet after i respond🤣

After packaging,
Ideally between 2 bicycles obvs...

...don't go cheap on the courier -

those Self- employed operatives often don't give a sh1t -

the better companies employ their workers.

Additionally you can probably look up a specific guitar transport company.
Carry the charge over into the total sale price and explain why.

It's your problem right up till the new owner twanged out stairway to heaven once too often and got murdered by his neighbour.
you could carve out a wheel of cheese and put your wheel in that. :)
