What guitar do you play, and what would you like instead?

I play a Squier Telecaster. Set up nicely and plays really well, much better than the "proper" Fender one I used to own. And it's red.

I would love a Rickenbacker but I don't have a spare grand knocking around the place. Or a Paul Reed Smith. More realistically I would love a Schechter Tele but they are hard to find.

I've got Fender Mustang in sonic blue with red scratchplate and a cheapo Fender acoustic in black.
I want a ruby Gibson SG and a Fender Stratacoustic in black.

Taz, the old Schecters are amazing, but I think the name is being put on some far east stuff now. Not that that means it is crap, but I just haven't played one so they may not be as of old.

I know what you mean about the Squiers, some of the best strats I have played have been Squiers.

I had one with the matt finish neck, that was one of the best playing guitars I ever played.

Damn me for parting with that.

I have never had a Rick either, and I played one again recently and hanker after one. You are right, they are pricey but you would get years of pleasure from it so it is worth every penny.

Fernandes Native.

I have owned a Fender Strat and Tele in the past, but they don't put out a dirty enough sound for me

I have Fender strat , in sunburst - I'm Happy with it , just wish I could play it properley !

Always fancied a Gibson , but not like the price tag !

A Fender American Standard Strat, a Simon and Patrick 12 string and a cheapo Fender acoustic.
Here is a crap photo of the Strat.

There are a lot of guitars I quite fancy, and everytime I look in a shop I always find something to drool over but the Strat was fairly near the top of the want list for me. :)

My lefty Rick  Was a nightmare to find one, but well worth it - its probably my favourite thing I own :D

Also have a US Deluxe Strat and a Korean Epi Les Paul which I love, and a Simon & Patrick SP6.
I'd love an Epi Casino and a high end acoustic like a Martin or L'arivee...
