What gear ratios are you all using?😀

Reason is I'm thinking of downsizing my road and mtb outer chainrings.
Wondering what you've all got (front & rear).

Two with 36 x 9-45 and one 36 x 9-46 on my MTB don't have a road machine.

I haven't used a triple since 1990. Never could see the point of the 'granny' ring

Isn't anyone here still using a triple?😟
Yep, I am!

Firstly because it allows a narrow range cassette AND a wide range of gears on my road bike. I hate big jumps in gear.
Secondly when touring with a load it's a whole different game and you need really low gears.

Knowing I have bail out gears had given me confidence to do rides I otherwise may not have tried.

9T gears are hideously inefficient, there was an article posted recently showing how in efficiency 1x systems are worse.

Me too, I use compact and hub gears as well. For all the reasons @hamster mentioned.
