Some borrowed parts deployed for build 1. No doubt purists will tell me I'm doing it wrong as the spec differs from the 1992 catalogue.

Build 2 will use different wheels and tyres.

I don't think the spec really matters once it's been repainted, especially to a purist. Just make it your own and enjoy it for what it is

apologies, i was dumb, read that as front "brake" not front derailleur. My team marin uses "Fuji ultralight" triple butted tubing, is the Prestige set suppose to be lighter?

Fuji came later after Tange got too expensive.

^ did not know that. Was the Team Marin's original Prestige tubing also triple butted? Cause this Fuji tubed frame is stupidly light.
