in no other bike I had as much fun as this and the kids anyway
I am very happy afterwards to use decoupage, it's very durable than paint and such color combination you get not out with normal paint job.

The colour scheme is my wife's idea by the way.

That cable stop is a complete PITA! But the build looks great! Love the Trek bonded stuff. Definately rides completely different than sloped top tube frames though but definitely one of my favourites!

I know mate but it's very practical ..well I'm looking for a better solution ,but more important is to find a top poll dx front mec.

And what to do if you can't find a matching dx front mech? ...yeah you take what better

This TREK should actually win an Oscar today!

I'm done and it looks so cute and also goes excellently well.

...believe me, I can't shoot enough of these colors.

And I am now convinced, DX is better than XT.

Thus, the first project this year is completed.

I must say a word about this project, I think the family should also have fun at this hobby, otherwise it will not work.
It cost me only about 180e, we had a lot of fun and it has become a beautiful bike.
