Today's Ride

Pleased with myself, managed to get out again, feeling a lot better on the bike already.

Another beautiful and sunny day, still bone dry. A short loop again. looking forward to getting back into the woods proper. lIving in the middle of Sherwood Forest there are woods in every direction, lacking real elevation but have the Peak District for that just up the road, we do have some of the best singletrack though so it's going to be a good summer.

Looks idyllic Mark

Last couple rides mostly been shorter distance loops mostly aimed at building more road confidence, today 26.43 miles/42.53km with 1397ft/425m of elevation. Around 11c but wind gusts hitting 20mph, pretty much warm in the sun and cold in the shade, a classic every direction is somehow a headwind type of day. Patiently waiting for the WIP footbridge to be finished so we can have riverside access again.
