So how does everyone carry their camera / 'phone so that they stay dry and safe in a fall? I keep mine in a Camelback so don't take enough pictures.

I have a TINY Quechua backpack. Its featherweight and has two sections the smaller of which i pack my phone which is what i use to take my pics. i was looking at those handlebar-mounted holders but dont think i could trust them.

I'm using a Quad lock case & mount... works perfectly and easy to switch from bike to bike, also comes with a waterproof cover

Re:

Home commute changed to follow a different part of the Harcamlow Way. Unfamiliar paths, and some of it not commonly used, having to push through vegetation in places. This time from Roydon through to Hunsdon, losing track of the waymarkers close to the latter. Encountered a fascinating old boy who had almost completed the entire walk.

Morning commute was very quiet - thumbs up for that. 9°c, but once I was warmed up didn't feel it. Ride back about 14°c and a bit of a headwind in places.

Keep mine in a little backpack. Stopping at various points on a ride, to rest and to take in the views and situation, is part of the whole experience for me. I still do it even without a camera on me. No rush to get anywhere or back :)

Re:

Most I got to ride today was 20 miles on the turbo big the thought was there......and the collection next to me :)

These random attacks by mother nature are getting a little tiresome

Beautiful morning and a wicked ride. Tomorrows looks autumnal again and wet so I'll likely go for a run instead.

It has been quite a while since i went out for a bike ride, always seem to be doing other things, which i guess is not a bad thing.

Anyway, the ground was damp, the sky looked like rain, so i decided to go for a ride 8)

Only a short ride, around a few ponds, over a few hills, across the odd muddy field and through some woods. I did have to take shelter for five or so due to an opening of the skies which made the ground just wet enough to flick the surface into my face. The home stretch saw more rain, though i was already a bit wet, but warm and homeward bound so it was rather enjoyable.

A nice ride on a rather nice, if a little damp day.

Re:

It's gonna rain, keep going. It threatened all the time I was out, but never actually got around to it.

Grey and overcast. Warm and blustery.

20 mile loop of the airport - mostly road. Busy, very busy. Drivers were quite civil and no NDEs to report

I looked for mud and barely found a splodge. Good times!

Mild out this morning with a misty haze obscuring the edge of the North Kent downs. Hardly anyone around indicating usual behaviours have returned. That's good for the ride but bad news for the environment.

Re:

Went out yesterday, in the rain - great fun. Did about 15 miles. Quite Warm and a slight breeze.

Little muddy in places, slippery in others.

Re:

Went out today also. Went for a blat along the Angles Way near Thetford. Original intent was to do some of the Peddars Way, but couldn't bloody find it, until we were on our way home. My fault for parking at the side of the road, away from the chocka car parks at Knetishall Heath.

Did about 15 miles before partner got tired. She's not used to rutted paths and bridleways, and gets fatigued quite quickly off-road. Mixture of quiet lanes (which she does really well on), bridleways, byways and couple of footpaths. There were also some quite big hills apparently, but I must have missed them.

Took some great photos, but most came out too big.

Weather couldn't have been better. Lovely day. Warm, about 24°c with an occasional light breeze.
