Today-Monday-Cool, about 68 F. with fog on the ocean and bay, but sunny around Fairfax. We rode down towards the Bay along Corte Madera creek. One of the biggest cranes I have ever seen in Marin was hard at work lifting immense beams at the new wing of the hospital...

Realized this morn it's been a wee while since i got a proper soaking so headed hillward in the refreshing permadrizzle...ended up off-piste on a pine needle carpet bouncing around on a 50-year old Brooks B17. Won't be using that again. As a result my conkers are now ruined, and it's not even September yet...

Today-Tuesday-Summer riding, 78 F. and sunny. Up to the west of town today about 900' up. someone got a flat and left their old tube at the top instead of packing it out with them :roll: .
Oh well, that's why I have been riding tubeless for the last 8 years or so-no flats ever, and no heavy tubes to deal with... Yesterday it was foggy during the eclipse, and I got this pic of it through the clouds...

Pat that corner is getting smaller by the minute!

Took the merlin singlespeed out for a morning razz from Leighton Buzzard over towards Dunstable Downs then Ivinghoe Beacon/Ashridge Park.

The last couple of photos is the village of Aldbury where any fans of the film The Dirty Dozen will know well!
