Yeah, I'm working with a phone camera with badly scratched lens, here she is from the underside, the black blur at her face is a bug she's noshing onView attachment 774627
Can't make it focus on the large object in the center of the viewfinder no matter what I try.

I have that trouble with my phone camera, plenty of blurred spiders/plants etc and clear backgrounds. I found moving the camera further away as opposed to nearer focused it on the foreground instead of the background. Like @tintin40 says, just take loads and experiment.

This is a very clever picture. But that’s the mud not the stars..

It is very clever. The space station looking thing is a bit like my very lucky pic i took with my iphone. Zoom in on the white stripe.
