I'm needing to clear some room in the garage, so it's time for the Specialized FSR Extreme to move on.
It's in good condition, there are some chips on the paintwork but no rust I can see. It's 17" from BB to top of seattube.
Still with the original Rock Shox Coupe Deluxe shock, giving 4.25" travel
Forks are Manitou XVert-T - seem to work well - stickers are scraped in places. Could probably use a service.

Was going to leave stem,bars, Nexave front mech & shifter, SRAM rear mech fitted. Will probably remove the crankset.

I was hoping to get something around £100 - or am I taking too many pills?

Carge, I would think if it is frame forks, front mech, seatpost and collar, plus bars and stem as in your photos (everything bar chainset) then £170 ish.

That'll be my best guess. £100 is under selling it.

Anyone have an idea of pricing for a set of 26" Spin Trispoke carbon wheels?

The decals are complete, and braking surface looked pretty unworn.

Klein Adroit Pro (2000)

Hi,

I am currently the proud owner of a Klein Adroit Pro (2000) in Sedona Orange (size 22", Klein size).
The bike is a mix of old and (relatively) new components:

NEW:
Rear derailleur: SRAM X9
Front derailleur: Shimano XT
Crankset: Shimano XT Hollowtech
Cassette: Shimano LX
Shifters: SRAM
Rear Wheel: Mavic XM317 wth Deore Hub

OLD:
Pedals: Ritchey
Fork: Votec GS4
Handlebar: Votec
Brakes: Magura HS11
Front Wheel: Mavic X212 wth CODA Expert Hub
Seatpost: Bontrager


I was wondering what the value of this bike would be. The frame has some damage as you can expect from frame which has been used for 10 years (see photos). Unfortunately you can't see on the picture that eight different colours of orange are used.

I have tried to grasp the value of a top of the line 2000 Klein but find it really hard. If anyone could give me an indication of the value I would be very happy.

You will get more if you split it, because it is such a mix of parts.

Only pricing I can help you with is that a mint XT chainset + BB will go for around the price of a new SLX chainset.

Hope/Mavic rear wheel

Have a ti glide (i think) rear wheel with disk laced to a Mavic X317 Disk rim.
Also has nice Ritchey Q/R.
Anyone have a clue what they are worth?

I think the disc and especially disc only makes them less wanted, but about £50 should sell it. May get £60 for it.

I guess I need to know!

I bow to your intellect, I have:-

1) An Orange O2 (1997ish) Orange O2 in silver, this has been upgraded and converted to road use, many really good original and replacement parts.

8 speed cassette

Suspension saddle post Illegible can't remember maker but ultra light and very good.

I have had a closer look at this tho and noticed a repair to the seat stem post (explains the "like new paint and decals) which probably renders it unsuitable for MTB and better road conversion.
