Each has their own part of the flock they need to attend to, each has to make the right noises but none have to worry about fulfilling any promises made, they only need to satisfy the needs of their sponsors, donors and other intra-national forces.

Hasn't anyone noticed that no matter who you elect you get the exact same policies? Sure the Tories may throw the occasional bone to their base as do Labour, but when it comes to the big issues that really matter you are going to get what you're given and like it. The two party monopoly has become so corrupted and so obviously fraudulent it's a wonder that anyone takes any of it seriously at all.
