The 1st record you genuinely bought?

I remember visiting every record shop my parents could find in Middlesbrough at around Xmas 1979 (aged 7) looking for the 'Another Brick In The Wall' single. They'd all sold out. The very last shop that my dad could find sold me their very last copy. "Hey, teacher! Leave them kids alone!" :cool:

Pretty sure this was my first single too. The outro guitar solo still sounds delicious. :p

I can't remember first album or CD but I do remember my first 7" single was Sound Of The Suburbs by The Members.
