Tell me about Tioga Disk Drive!

Hello,

I'm curious to try a Tioga Disk Drive, mainly just to look (or feel) as cool as John Tomac was in the 90s. They're expensive and have some benefits, but how resilient / fragile are they? Do they wear out, break etc. easily?

Ive often wondered why someone doesnt make a cheap replica,wouldnt take much,just an injection moulded clear circular plastic disc with fake strands going through it and then just clip it to the spokes.Propriety Tioga sticker and away you go.I`d buy one...
