Sun Snipe - All original parts - still rides well but needs some TLC. £150
I’ve owned a Sun Snipe since I was about twelve or so (nearly 40 years ago). To the best of my recollection, with the exception of a couple of cotter pins, all the parts are original. It’s never even been touched up.
It strikes me this would be a grand restoration job for an enthusiast.
I know very little about bikes. The size of the part of the frame below the saddle measures 21 inches (I’m five eight and it works for me) but I’m happy to measure, photograph, check part manufacturers etc etc for any aspect; just tell me what you want.
Pricewise I’ve been through the site, checked eBay and so on and £150 seemed about right – mostly because of the fact it’s so complete.
Frame No: 3785446
Size: 21 inch
Saddle: Wright CL3ST
Gears: Simplex 5 Speed
Brakes: Weinmann Vanquer 999
Wheel: 27 x 1/14
Tyres: Moulded on one side; Michigan. Inflate to 60lb. Made in Taiwan.
On the other side a script that looks like, "Lee."
