SNOW

Was it a Navarro?

One thing I always forget is how much momentum you build up with a bigger and heavier vehicle, really need to think ahead when it comes to obstacles.

Have you got off road tyres on it?

The thing I like about being up here in the Highlands is that there will not usually be someone blocking the road ahead in a 'summer' car.

It's probably the same as a Navara... ;)

I'm not expecting there to be many cars out on the roads tomorrow. Especially not Mercs and beemers, cos they're totally sh*te in this weather.

You're right LGF, with such a nice seat and surroundings, who needs to drive anywhere? Relax with R4 and think of all the money you are saving on fuel! :)

He he, I have music on the brain!

When it snows we all drive round with tow belts on our bull bars. It is like a badge of pride, as the rest of the year we are castigated for driving huge inefficient heaps, despite something like my twenty two year old running on WVO rich mix having a lower overall carbon footprint than most five year lifespan modern boxes, including the Beamer my wife just got rid of.

I am going to make a point of doing some tow surfing this year, in a kayak!

I'm sure I'll have to tow a Mercedes out of a ditch somewhere tomorrow... Or shovel a mile of snow out the way, just so they can have some traction...

the white apocolypse has hit burgh castle with a vengeance...its almost white out time here...just went for a quick walk up the country lane and i came back a snowman.....and its really windy too so its quite fun out there....the speed its coming down i expect about a foot of the stuff at least by midnight...

Yes. But that's to be expected here ;)

Oh no!

We should all turn our backs in shame now that the big dick swingers of the real snowlands have caught us comparing our meagre inches!

;)

Forecast says in the morning it will be -24C, but will feel like -33C. I'm already on my 2nd bottle of Vodka so I don't feel it on tomorrows ride.

You don't need to worry, you can melt the snow with your breath!
