Show us your marins!

Thanks @Matttymm!

I just got the original stem that this bike had in the 1995 catalog.
I'm also in the process of getting a controltech seatpost.

Otherwise, I appreciate your comments about the bottle cage. I had also thought about the original Marin Lite.

In my case, in Spain, it is difficult to find certain pieces....

After searching and reading all kinds of information on the Internet, I am not clear about the origin of these frames.

I understood that since 1995 they were manufactured in Taiwan, but reading 1995 German catalogue:

"At our titanium processing factory in Fairfield California, all tubes are carefully hand-selected and meticulously welded."

Is there any truth in this statement?

Cheers
Hey. No problem.

I’ve got a 95 Marin Lite bottle cage if you decide to go that way. The Ringle one is class though. It’s personal taste. Do it your way.

These Team Titanium frames are Taiwan made. There should be a Made in Taiwan sticker under the bottom bracket. It may have been lost over time. I believe it’s just the “Ultimate” frame that’s US made (as per my 96)

Last month I picked up this 91? Palisades, from a lovely guy that was selling a number of early 90s Marins. I had the fluro flexstem waiting for a bike and this was the perfect match.
