Show us your marins!

I am having to put this project on hold. I can no longer use the conservatory to work on it as it is not christmasy enough! I tried to argue that the polished frame would reflect the Xmas lights but no joy.

I once had a matte dark green Bontrager. That would have gone well with the Christmas tree :) sadly I passed it on.

That did make me chuckle, the big question would be do the decals match the lights though?

It is not all bad, I am quite pleased with how this bike has polished up so I am going to strip and polish a 93 nail trail that I have. I was planning on upgrading it with LX and a Manitou Mach 5 sx fork so just a bit more work. Plus I can simply put the frame in shed at the end of each sanding/polishing session.
 
Decals were black and gold, so I would rather say yes. The perfect Christmas bike it was.
I will not post a picture as I do not want to hijack this Marin thread though
