SHOW US YOUR IMACS (formerly iMacs should I bother?)

Re:

I made sure I got the magic mouse instead after trying the track pad in one of the Apple showrooms. You can swipe it with the fingers but also move the mouse about too, which I need to do for work in graphics. They don't half eat batteries though.

Took me a while to realise that if you do use the trackpad as a coaster, you need to take the batteries out or it locks everything up. Thought i'd broken something.

Re:

Being Apple, they're probably the most expensive coasters available.

Last week, I managed to launch a freshly brewed vat of tea over my wireless keyboard and feared the worst. I was quick to dry it and it's working fine now – all the keys too. Phew.

Anker 4 way usb 3 dock and lg cd/dvd rw arrived. All working fine and makes things less fiddly reaching around the back.

The trouble with iMac's is if the screen goes wrong then you loose the whole computer for repair. So this time after 3 iMac's since 2000 I bought a Mac mini. A much underrated Mac.
